Magnesite fired from natural Magnesite by one-step or two-step calcination process with high-temperature equipment such as shaft kiln and Rotary kiln is called sintered magnesite; The fused magnesite is formed by melting Magnesite in electric arc furnace and cooling it; Extracting magnesium oxide from seawater is called seawater magnesia. Magnesia is one of the most important raw materials for refractory materials, used for manufacturing various magnesium bricks, magnesium aluminum bricks, ramming materials, furnace repair materials, etc. Containing a large amount of impurities, used for laying the bottom of steelmaking furnaces, etc.


    High purity magnesite is produced by flotation purification of natural super grade magnesite through light burning, fine grinding, ball pressing and ultra-high temperature oil shaft kiln calcination. It is a high-quality raw material for brick making and refractory materials.


    Medium grade magnesia is produced from lightly burned magnesium oxide with a MgO content of 97% through processes such as ball pressing and high-temperature vertical kiln calcination. The product has good sintering degree and dense crystallization, making it a high-quality raw material for producing medium grade magnesium refractory products.


    Electric fused magnesia is made by melting selected grade A natural magnesite or high-purity light burned magnesium particles in an electric arc furnace. This product has high purity, large crystalline particles, dense structure, strong slag resistance, and good thermal shock stability. It is an excellent high-temperature electrical insulation material and an important raw material for producing high-end magnesium bricks, magnesium carbon bricks, and amorphous refractory materials.
